Alliance Community Fellowship in Rutland Vermont was founded in 1956 by Rev. Milton and Nancy Pierce. The church was officially incorporated as the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Rutland in 1964. Several homes and buildings provided meeting places for the church until 1966 when it constructed a church on Killington Ave and moved in. Numerous Pastors provided leadership in the ensuing decades and saw God work to bring people into His kingdom through the ministries of the church.
During the early 2000’s the church experienced a rapid rise in attendance and sold its church building on Killington Ave in 2002 to rent space in the Howe Center. This same year it changed its name to Alliance Community Fellowship. After some ups and downs Pastor Erron and Joy Hubbell arrived in 2009 and brought stability and faithful leadership to ACF. In 2020 ACF moved from the Howe Center to its current spot meeting in the gymnasium at Rutland Area Christian School on 112 Lincoln Ave. The Hubbell’s left for another CMA church in 2022 and the church hired Nestor Soto who began serving here in May of 2024.
